Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMICHAEL PATRICK STANLEY Michael Patrick Stanley of Winnipeg, Manitoba passed away at the age of 84 on December 5, 2016. Survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Shirley Stanley, his children, Mickey (Pat Solman), Sandy (Len Borbridge) and Mathew (Kristina Stanley), his grandchildren, Sarah, Amanda and Spencer, and three brothers, David, Paul and Peter. Predeceased by his sister Marcia. Michael is remembered for his kindness, his generosity, and his love of the outdoors. He will be greatly missed by us all. Thank you to Concordia Hospital for your kind care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Concordia Hospital. Mike was a very close hunting buddy of my father, Bill Alsip, same as my name. Mike was one of the most good natured persons I have ever met. He had a unique laugh "he-haw, he-haw" that was absolutely contagious and was always willing to help with mechanical problems on a vehicle. I remember my 55 Chrysler dropping a tie rod on the bricks in the back yard in 1965, then Dad bringing Mike to 931 MacMillan at lunch to install it while his service station continued down a man.
