RONALD PAUL NORMANDEAU Ron Normandeau passed away on December 5, 2016, at 66 years of age, after a brief but intense fight with cancer. He is survived by his wife Lorraine; his two children Serge Normandeau (Jill) and Catherine Dahl (Rowan); grandson Levi; as well as numerous brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces. Ron was born and raised in St. Boniface and spent the majority of his working career as the Parts Manager for Birchwood Honda on Regent. Ron retired in 2012 and has spent the past couple of years traveling with his wife, Lorraine. They, along with their dogs Tobi and Holly, loved spending time at the cottage at Falcon Lake and wintering in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Ron had a calm and quiet disposition with a heart of gold and the most genuine smile and sense of humour. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 13, 2016, at Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Parish, 264 Donwood Drive, Winnipeg, followed by a reception in the church hall. Donations in Ron's memory may be sent to CancerCare Manitoba. We would like to extend our gratitude to all doctors, nurses and staff at St. Boniface Hospital (5E) who provided excellent care and compassion throughout this difficult time.
