WILMA TAYLOR Wilma Taylor died peacefully in her sleep on December 2, 2016 at Foothills General Hospital in Calgary, Alberta at 8:30 mountain time. Although her death was rather sudden it followed two years of deteriorating health after a stroke. Wilma is survived by her only son James, sisters Rose and Anne and brother Peter. She lived most of her life in Manitoba. Born and raised in the Steinbach area and living 60 years in Winnipeg. She moved to Calgary with her son where she spent her final two and a half years. People will remember her joy and kindness as well as her garden in summer. The funeral for Wilma will be held on Monday, December 19, 2016, 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home. We remember Wilma with fondness, for her and Keith's kindnesses to us and our son as he was growing up. She was always willing and glad to share her wide knowledge of plants and gardens.
