SARAH LENA BEAULIEU (nee STARR) January 27, 1930 - December 17, 2016 Giizis Zaagaate Giizhig IKWE Mom passed away at the Riverview Hospital surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by our father Joseph A. Beaulieu on February 25, 2016. They were married 68 years. Mom fought a courageous battle with cancer three times since 2005. It wasn't cancer that took her life, it was her broken heart from losing Dad; she missed him so very much. She had told us she was waiting for him to come and get her. Her spiritual faith was very strong; our creator has granted her wishes. She leaves her precious children Charlie (Verna), Kathy, Lydia (Joe), George (Debra Lee), Russell (Sandra), Georgina (Don), Maury (Josephine), Sandra, Karen, Wayne, Loreyann (Kurt), Vanessa (Alfred) and Shawn (Priscilla); 63 grandchildren; 130 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren, and many special nieces and nephews as well as one sister-in-law Margaret Kubb. Mom is the last of Charles and Emma Starr's children: Eddy, Matthew, Billy, Angus, Lydia, Catherine, Doris, Russell, Alvin, Howard, Irene and Leonard. She used to say that God forgot about her as she was the only one left. We had more time to treasure her and Dad. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Sandy Bay First Nation with Father José Cabral officiating. Interment will follow at the Sandy Bay Cemetery. Clarke's Funeral Home, Gladstone~MacGregor www.clarkesfuneralhome.com
