CLAUDETTE INMAN It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Claudette Florence Inman (nee Assailly) of Teulon, MB, formerly of Thompson, MB, on December 19, 2016. Claudette was born June 9, 1942 in Ste. Rose du Lac to Irene and Jean Assailly. She lived in Laurier until 1962 when she moved to Thompson where she met and married Einar (Ike) Inman and raised their family. She spent many years working at Shop Easy Foods, CIBC and Inco. She was an avid bowler, loved going to dances, spent many weekends travelling to watch Eric play hockey and much time at the Setting Lake cabin. She was a great cook and baker and hosted many family holiday meals for everyone. Einar and Claudette retired in 1992 to Teulon where Claudette worked many years at McSherry Auction and Larson Dairy. She played golf, attended many seniors' dances and enjoyed crafting, of which she was very talented which included knitting, crocheting and folk art painting for herself, children and many grandchildren. She was lucky to be able to enjoy winters in Weslaco, TX for about six years. She was predeceased by her dad, Jean Assailly , mom, Irene Boisvert, brother, Eddie Boisvert, and in-laws, George and Helga Inman. She leaves to mourn her husband, Einar, daughters Lorelei (Ray) Andrushuk, and Carla (Brian) Reimer, son Eric (Sheri) Inman, grandchildren, Jordan, Rachel, Jesse, Hanna, Chloe, Maegan and Carson, plus siblings, Lionel (May), Stan (Dorothy), Buster (Cecelia), Jeanette, Tilly (Ken), Raymond (Joanne), Genny (Henry), (Agnes) and Marian, and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Teulon. In lieu of flowers, you can make a donation to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10-120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2 in honour of Claudette.
