Mr. Herman was my Graphic Arts teacher 40 years ago at R.B. Russell. I've always considered him to be my favourite teacher throughout my life because of the interest and concern he showed for whatever I had to say. He truly listened and would try to give a type of "fatherly" advice. That was important to me since I grew up without a father figure. I regret that I never had the opportunity to thank him for that. Just wanted to let his family know that I survived and turned out to be a caring person, teacher, who helps others and carries on Mr. Herman's role. My sympathies to his family and may the memories of happier times comfort you. - Posted by: Miranda (Former Student) on: Dec 27, 2016
