SUSAN MARIE LANDEGA (nee HETTERLY) April 6, 1956 December 23, 2016 With sadness and love we announce our beloved Susan (Susie) passed on December 23, 2016 with her family at her side. Susan was born in Saskatoon, the daughter of Clarence and Gertrude (nee Appleton) Hetterly, the sister of George (Terri), Diane (Jake) Wiebe, Doug (Fern), and Garth (Irene). She was predeceased by her mother, father, sister-in-law Olga, and cherished son Curtis. Susan is deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Andy, daughters Natasha (Calvin) Thiessen and Meagan (Aaron) Dlot, grandsons Chase and Zachary Dlot, her brothers and sister, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and dear friends. She lived in Saskatoon, SK before she moved to Winnipeg, MB where she worked as a secretary at a law firm and then for numerous ministers in the Manitoba provincial government. She retired following the birth of her third child to focus on her family. Her children and grandchildren were the joy of her life. She was a skilled seamstress, loved crafts and gardening, and enjoyed spending time outdoors walking and cycling. Family and friends have warm memories of shared vacations and family gatherings. We'd like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff on E5, E6 and in the ICU at St. Boniface Hospital for their care. A celebration of Susan's life will be held Saturday, December 31, 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul. In lieu of flower, donations in honour of Susan can be made to St. Boniface Hospital Foundation, 204-237-2067, or the charity of your choice. Glen Eden Funeral Home & Cemetery 204-338-7111
