Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARLENE IVADELL KNUTSON (nee JOHNSON) 1935 - 2016 Uff da, yukshermyish, Aunt Matilda she loved each of you very much! Mom passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on December 23, 2016 at the age of 81 years. Mom was predeceased by her loving husband Martin in 1985, after 30 years of marriage. Left to cherish her memory are her children Glen (Kim), Darwin (Marge), Wayne (Cheryle), Edward (Kim), Darlene (Tim), and Gerald (Jann), 15 grandchildren, three great- grandchildren, a large extended family, her church family, numerous friends and especially her furry friend Taffy. Viewing will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 30, 2016 at Church of Christ, 170 St. Mary's Road at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Warren Cemetery, Warren, Manitoba. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Church of Christ Youth Program. The family would like to thank all those who offered prayers, cards and phone calls over the last few months, and we extend our sincere appreciation to Dr. Robyn Olson, Interlake Palliative Care, especially her favorite nurse Lindsay, and the many home care nurses. Mrs. Knutson had the most kind words and she always wanted to know about you and your family. She was the perfect picture of a loving grandma. Our family will miss her but find peace knowing she suffers no more .
