SUHAG RANI BALI 1926 - 2016 On Wednesday, December 28, 2016, Suhag Rani Bali passed away peacefully and happily at her home, surrounded by her loved ones. She was 90 years old. Born in Kotli, India, her life exemplified hard work, dedication, and love for family. Coming from humble beginnings, she lived a simple life and did whatever was required to ensure her family was taken care of with the necessities of life. She always made time to parlay her wisdom and affection to her loved ones. She reunites with her husband Brahm Dutt Bali and son Ashwani Kumar, in heaven. She leaves behind her children Asha (Mangat), Kamlesh (Ashok), Ashwani's wife (Chanchal), Neelam (Vijay), and Jatinder (Rajni); in addition to 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 8:00 a.m. in Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard. Following the funeral services, at 2:30 p.m. a Shanti Path will be held at The Hindu Society of Manitoba, 854 Ellice Avenue. Donations in her name can be made to The Manitoba Lung Association.
