RUTH EATOUGH On the eve of Christmas, Ruth passed away peacefully at the age 102. Ruth was predeceased by her husband Henry Eatough (1977); parents Gordon and Hilda Tovell; and brothers Charles, Cecil, Albert and Leslie. She is survived by her sister Marjorie Umbach (Calgary); son Scott (Diane); grandchildren Robyn (Darryl) Chabot, Shannon (Marcel) Sarrasin and Derek (Gillian); and four great-grandchildren Sage, Maya, Nevé and Matéo. Ruth was a devoted and loving wife, mother, mother-in-law and nanna to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a gracious woman, one of wisdom, integrity, great strength and gentle patience. Ruth has been the foundation of her family during her lifetime. She loved unconditionally and always put her family before herself. She was a woman of never ending Faith, Hope and Charity. Ruth remained a faithful member of the Church of Christ in Winnipeg until ill health no longer allowed her to attend. Peace be with you Mom and Nanna! Cremation has taken place. No formal service will be held at Ruth's request. A private family burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
