CAMELLIA (CAMMIE) EDITH BOYCE July 10, 1929 - December 24, 2016 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother Camellia (Cammie) Edith Boyce at Grace Hospital on December 24, 2016 after a short illness. Cammie was predeceased by her husband John Boyce; son Gary Boyce; grandson Enrique Pearase; and granddaughter Lisa Mosher. She leaves to mourn her children, Jim (Judy), Cathy (Ron), Ken, Glenn (Jackie), Patti Snare (Doug), David and Colleen. She also leaves to mourn her 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Mom was a long-time resident in St. James where she successfully nurtured and raised eight children. She was a Life Member of the Ladies Auxiliary Legion Branch #4. Mom was an avid Bingo aficionado plus in later years enjoyed many bus trips to various Casinos with her many friends. To Those I Love And Those Who Love Me Now I am gone, release me, let me go I have so many things to see and do You mustn't tie yourself to me with tears; Be happy, we had so many years. I gave to you my love, you can only guess How much you gave to me in happiness. I thank you for the love you each have shown, But now it's time I traveled on alone. So grieve a while for me if grieve you must; Then let your grief be comforted by trust. It's only for a while that we must part, So bless the memories within your heart. I won't be far away, for life goes on; So if you need me, call and I will come, Though you can't see me or touch me, I'll be near And if you listen with your heart, you'll hear, All of my love around you soft and clear. And then, when you must come this way alone, I'll greet you with a smile and say "Welcome Home". In accordance with Mom's wishes cremation has taken place and she requested that there be no funeral. A family interment will be held at a later date. Flowers are gratefully declined. Friends wishing to do so may send donations in Cammie's memory to CancerCare Manitoba at 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3E 0V9.
