JOHN WINSTON WALPOLE John Winston Walpole, born November 17, 1940, died on December 29, 2016. He was raised in Fort Rouge with brothers, Bob and Terry and sister Barb. He married Edna Moody and they had two sons, Ron and Ken. John served with the PPCLI Signal Corps on U.N. peacekeeping missions in Cyprus and Egypt in the 1960's. He was later posted to West Germany and had the opportunity to travel extensively in Europe with his family. He finished his military career at CFB Kingston and returned to Winnipeg where he worked various jobs in sales and as a Commissionaire. He was father-in-law to Linda and Karen; grandpa to Andrea (Andrew), Kali (Michael) and McKenzie; and great-grandpa to Chloe and Maci.
