Lorraine & Chuck Fidler We are so very sorry for your loss. We would have responded sooner - we are so sorry that we just found out. Chuck & I hope that your memories of both your Mom & Dad will give you comfort. I would often run into Anne at the different stores around Westwood and we would take the time to visit and talk about our children and grandchildren. We thought very highly of your parents. From Kas's commitment to YBC, to Anne's kindness and deepest love for her family. We will remember your parents with fondness and the greatest respect. Susan Fidler-Elson I will always remember your parents with a smile. The many times that your Mom took Janet and me downtown to shop, as I recall she loved to shop!! The very first time I had a McDonald's burger was at your family home (lol), the failed attempts at teaching me how to play piano (I can still play heart & Soul though :), introducing me to Saturday morning YBC bowling, just to name a few. I will also remember the wonderful winter ice slides in your back yard on Raquette, and of course, "Bullet" the Schnauzer - I think there was also a cat or two. I saw your Mom when I was visiting Winnipeg last February (2016) and thanked her for being such a kind person - I am so glad that I was able to do that for both your parents meant a lot to me growing up . Take good care of one another - take good care Janet. - Posted by: sanddelson@shaw.ca (Neighbours) on: Feb 16, 2017

Met Anne way back in the early 80's, when I started at Revenue Canada as a casual employee. She was lovingly known as "Little Annie" as ther was another Anne in the Error Inspection Control unit. Annie was always very pleasant and by far, a great supervisor to work for. Have not seen her for many years, it I am sure she will be a welcome addition in Heaven with her beautiful personality. - Posted by: Kathy fecio (Colleague at Revenue Canada) on: Jan 03, 2017

I met Anne at wpg taxation centre, when we started the same job. We became friends, and had many good times together. Anne had the best apples in the city growing in her yard, that she brought To work, and we processed them into delicious pies. Anne was a good friend who took on my 4 children for a weekend to give me a much needed break as a single parent. My condolences to her family, Annie was a special person and will be sadly missed. - Posted by: Perry haarsma (Friend/coworker) on: Jan 02, 2017
