Linda was predeceased by her loving husband Rae in 2009. She is survived by their children, Tom (Tracy and Laura); Candace; Margot (Chris and Casey Bigelow); Andrew; Melinda (Glen Mitchell) and her brother Scott Wright (Sonya), as well as her nieces, nephews and their families. Linda was born in Winnipeg on April 6, 1932, the daughter of Kirk and Tom Wright. She attended Grosvenor Elementary and Riverbend School and then earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Manitoba before marrying Rae Tallin in 1955. Their homes and their cottage at Minaki were always open to family and friends and Linda and Rae made everyone welcome. She was very community spirited and spent many years volunteering for Little Britain United Church, Mapleton 4-H, Selkirk Friendship Centre, Meals on Wheels, schools and many others. Linda was an avid animal lover and enjoyed the company of many dogs and cats throughout the years. She had a great capacity for love and made everyone feel special. She was very special to us; we love you, Mom. IHF. Graveside interment and reception will be held in the spring at Little Britain United Church. Linda was a great and generous woman. For a time growing up, she was like a second mom to me as I was at the Tallin residence as much as my own home, as well as the numerous times spent in Minaki at the cottage. The memories I hold of Linda will always be special in my heart. Linda will be missed but her memories will last forever. Rest in Peace. - Posted by: Joel Gunter (friend of the family) on: Aug 16, 2017

So sad to hear the news of Linda's passing, thanks Candace for keeping us in your list. We had so many good times while Linda and Rae lived in Blakeney, lots of laughs and great memories, in fact Rae and I were almost kicked out of breakfast places because of our laughs. Wonderful memories We are thinking of all of you! Hugs - Posted by: Carolyn and Wayne Finner (Friends) on: Jan 06, 2017

So sorry to hear that Linda has passed. She was indeed a great hostess and I was pleased to attend the always laugh filled times at her table with many family and friends. I also loved to join her for a drink at 55 Nassau when it was just the two of us and have a giggle. Rest in peace dear Linda. - Posted by: Graham Gork (Friend of the family) on: Dec 31, 2016
