Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySANDRA DIANE MILLAR (nee JOYCE) Peacefully with her family by her side, Sandra Millar passed away on December 27, 2016. She leaves to morn her husband of 55 years Gerry; daughter Darcy (Sam); grandchildren, Cassidy and Reilly; brother Rick (Judy). She was predeceased by her parents, Richard and Beryl Joyce. Sandy was born on July 22, 1942 in Winnipeg. She grew up in St James, attended Assiniboine school and St. James Collegiate. As a young girl she spent lots of time at Betula Lake. She married Gerry, along came Darcy. They built a life together in St James. They built a cabin at Granite Lake, Ontario where they shared many great friendships and memories. Sandy was employed for many years at ABCO Supply and Service. Sandy greatest love was her family, especially her grandchildren. Holiday dinners, birthday parties and many grandchildren events fulfilled her life. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 14 at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard, with a reception to follow. The family would like to thank the staff, nurses and doctors at the Grace hospital 3rd floor south east and St. Boniface Hospital Asper Heart Institute I.C.C.U. for all their wonderful care. All of as at ABCO are saddened to hear of Sandra's passing. We will miss Sandra's warm smile and kind heart. She was always a pleasure to work with and a fantastic co-worker. Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss.
