Date of Passing: Jan 01, 2017
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDENNIS WAYNE PETROWSKI Surrounded by family, Dennis Wayne Petrowski passed away on January 1, 2017 at the age of 73. Dennis was predeceased by his parents Nick and Rosanna Mae Petrowski. Dennis will be lovingly remembered by his children: Leona Micklash (Manny), Mike Petrowski, Patti Haluik (Ray), Jennifer Petrowski (Doug), stepdaughter Kristall Hawryshok, along with many grandchildren, his brother Rick Petrowski, and sister Donna Petrowski. Dennis was born and raised in Elmwood and later moved to West St. Paul, then to Vivian, MB. Dennis worked in construction all his life and was most proud of being a Lather by trade. He was happiest when building anything; he always had plans and projects on the go. He had a real penchant for collecting vehicles and took great pride in fixing them. Dennis was very proud of his independent lifestyle, just him and his "puppy", Bae. Living life on the "ranch" is something he would often say, he was always outside enjoying his yard and tinkering away. Dennis will be greatly missed, but his memory will live on in his family and friends. A service to celebrate Dennis' life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 23, 2017, at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul, MB. Flowers are gratefully declined. A donation can be made in Dennis' honour to a charity of your choice. Family and friends may sign a Book of Condolence at www.glenedenmemorial.ca Glen Eden Funeral Home & Cemetery 204-338-7111

To Great Uncle Den A poem for you The day you left us was heartbreak and sorrow. The day you left us we saw no tomorrow. The day you left us we didn't understand. The day you left us God had you by the hand. The day you left us your family came together. The day you left us we remember you forever. Thank you for being such a funny great uncle, you will be greatly missed by Autumn, Porsche, Mercedez, but mostly Teagan who always wanted to hop in the truck with you to head home with you every time you visited. Love you and will be missed by the Petrowski girls. R.I.P Great Uncle Den. - Posted by: Petrowski girls (Great Uncle) on: Jan 14, 2017

My uncle Den taught me the trade that keeps me living, I'm sorry uncle Den for the shame and embarrassment I've brought to our family. You never treated me different, always understanding and there to help me work through my many issues. Thank you. I'll remember all our jobs and laughs and our talks. I'm a better man today through all the negatives. And I hear ur confirmation and direction in my heart. I'm living, healthy, happy and well today. And wished I coulda showed u before u left. I'll make u proud from here on ok. I miss you and always will. See you when I get there. Say hi to grandpa and my mom when u see them. Take care and rest. You've earned it you workaholic lol. I love you forever - Posted by: Little rick (Nephew) on: Jan 08, 2017

I met Dennis many years ago at his cabin in Red Rock Lake through his daughter Jen. His hospitality was always generous. He was a sincerely kind person and a great conversationalist. I will miss our conversations and many laughs over the years. You will never be forgotten my friend. My thoughts are with you and your family. - Posted by: Barry Johnston (friend) on: Jan 05, 2017
