Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVIRGINIA HOPKINS Peacefully at her home, Virginia Hopkins passed away at the age of 84 years on January 2, 2017. She was predeceased by her husband Jack, mother and father Gladys and Charles. She leaves to mourn her two daughters, Cathy and Nancy (Don). Virginia Hopkins was born in Dryden, Ontario and moved to Winnipeg to start a career in Nursing. She left nursing after a number of years to stay at home with her children. Later she began to work as a Teacher's Aide in the River East School Division. She enjoyed spending time in her yard with her flowers and garden. Her birds, deer and Sienna will miss her. In accordance with Virginia's wishes, cremation has taken place and no funeral will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Darcy's Arc. Glen Eden Funeral Home & Cemetery 204-338-7111
