ANNE ROGOWSKY January 2, 1927 - January 3, 2017 Surrounded by her family, at the Arborg Hospital, on January 3, 2017 Anne Rogowsky passed away peacefully. Mom will be lovingly remembered by her children: Denis (Sally), Donna (Jim) Fenske, Sally (Trevor) Smith and Ron (Noel). Baba will be fondly remembered by her 13 grandchildren: Jason (Janet), Keith (Angele), Brian (Michael), Lisa (Joel), Christopher (Erin), Robin (Kurt), Robert, Deek, Brady (Morgan), Anisa, Dylan, Austin and Stephen, and her 12 great-grandchildren: Emily, Ethan, Kayla, Brady, Hannah, Nolan, Quinn, Hayley, Alivia, Ryatt, Hayden and Nixyn. Mom was born in Jammica, Ukraine. At the age of 12 her mother and brothers came to Canada on the Alaunia 2 on April 16, 1939 to meet her father who came to Canada 11 years earlier to setup a home for the family in Silver. It was in Silver that she met our dad, Nestor. They settled in Teulon to raise their family. Mom was a homemaker extraordinaire, she loved gardening (flowers had to be tended constantly), cooking and especially her delicious perogies. She loved to meet and talk to people and made friends where ever she was. She worked for a time at the Teulon Residential Residence until it closed. The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the Arborg Hospital for the wonderful care and compassion they gave to Mom. Cremation has taken place as per Mom's wishes and a memorial celebration will be held at the Gunton Hall on Tuesday, January 10 at 11:00 a.m. Private interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Teulon Windsor Cemetery. "I have all the riches and treasures of the world I've had children and they've had children. I have loved and I have been loved. I am blessed What more could I ask for in life? MacKenzie Funeral Home Stonewall 204-467-2525 info@mackenziefh.com

  • Ann will be missed by all. She was a great friend and neighbor always with time to talk and visit. The end of a generation of hard working pioneers, with their huge gardens, always home baked meals from scratch that were delicious and filling. She lived a wonderful life and left us with great memories. - Posted by: Anna Pazdzirski (friend) on: Jan 07, 2017

  • Ron and the rest of the Rogosky family...! Our sincere condolences to you all at this time. Anne was a lovely lady who was always greeted you with a smile. I can recall coming over to visit with Ron and jamming with the band in the porch. She always found time to bring out her magic perogies and feed us. Remember the good time and take care of one another in your time of need. She will finally be back in Nestor's arms and telling stories again...! R.I.P.
