RITA LORRAINE BELL (nee WAIGHORN) Rita was born on February 12, 1920 in Quebec, Canada to parents, Florence and Ernest and passed away January 3, 2017 at the Maples Personal Care Home in Winnipeg. Rita was predeceased by her husband Walter J. Bell in September 2012. Leaves behind her daughter Carol; sons, Walter and David (Louise) Bell as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Rita raised her granddaughter Pamela Bell. A special thanks to her granddaughter Maylene Davis (Paul) who cared for Rita in many was over the years. Mom worked at Eaton's in the early days. She enjoyed trips to the US and enjoyed both bowling and bingo. Rest in Peace Mom. A private service will be held on January 10, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. So sorry to my cousins in the loss of your Mother. I am thinking of you all. May Aunty Rita rest in peace and have comfort in being with Uncle Walter now. My family and I are thinking of you all.
