John and I fought some of the same fires. I remember him as a good firefighter and a nice guy. I never worked with him often but he was one of those guys you just naturally remembered. My condolences to his family. - Posted by: Scott Miner (Collegue) on: Jan 23, 2017

So very sad to hear of John's passing. Most sincere condolences to Alice and all the rest of the family. John was one of my former Captains at Station 17 back in the 90's and he was a great leader and an even better man. May he rest in peace. Condolences to Lacy Family and friends. Although it's been many years, I have very fond memories of band practice in the Lacy basement. The Lacy house was always a warm family environment. John was always a great advocate of our band Galaxy. John and Alice were welcoming to all. The world needs more great dads like John. - Posted by: Howard Rybuck (Friend ) on: Jan 11, 2017
