Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLAWRENCE WACHAL 1932 - 2017 Peacefully on January 9, 2017, at Seven Oaks Hospital, Lawrence Wachal, beloved husband of Elsie, passed away at the age of 84. He was predeceased by his parents Antonia and Walter Wachal, two sisters Elbie and Doris, and one brother Curt. Lawrence will be lovingly remembered by Elsie, his wife of 61 years; daughters Jo-Anne (Dennis), Dianne (Richard); grandchildren Tannis (Cameron) and Karine; great-grandchildren Campbell and Marshall. He will also be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Lawrence grew up in Stead, MB where he worked on the family farm. In 1955 he married Elsie and they moved to Winnipeg. He worked construction all his life, while on the side, helped manage the family farm until he retired at 62. Memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 14, 2017, at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, family and friends may make a donation to the Parkinsons Society of Manitoba, 414 Westmount Drive, Winnipeg, MB R2J 1P2. He walked beside us, Everyday unseen.
