DENISE MCIVOR It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Denise McIvor on January 8, 2017 at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 81 years. Denise was predeceased by her husband Joseph Leonard McIvor; parents, Napoleon Lucier and Maria Richard as well as four brothers and one sister. She will be sadly missed by her children, Yvonne (Dave), Gerald (Cora), Nola (Doug), Gilbert (Brenda), Giselle (Peter), Susan and Yvette; grandchildren, Chantelle (Sean), Douglas (Patrick), Kenneth (Tina), Daniel (Joanna), Joe (Athena), Christine (Anthony), Edward (Ashley), Andre (Briana), Stephanie (Rene), Sherisse, Cassandra (Chase) and Drew (Donovan). She also leaves behind her loving siblings, Florence, Leona, Tony (Marge), Andre (Shirley) and Alfred (Marlene). As well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Denise was born and raised in St. Eustache, Manitoba. She worked for several years at St. Boniface Hospital as well as Active Management for many years. We will always remember Denise for her loving, caring, generous heart, her beautiful smile and of course, her tourtiere. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Thomson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. There will never be another woman like her. We take comfort in knowing that Papa is reunited with his Babe.
