KALEB ELI BUSCH March 15, 2011 - January 12, 2017 It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of our son, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend, Kaleb Eli Busch on Thursday, January 12, 2017, at the age of five years, peacefully in his Mommy's arms. Left to mourn Kaleb's passing are his loving parents, Terry-Lynn Ivaniski and Owen Busch, of Lloydminster, AB; grandpa Leslie Ivaniski of Ashern, MB; grandma Elaine Busch of Hazel Dell, SK; aunties, Shanna Ivaniski of Marshall, SK, Donna Wilson of Regina, SK, Kathy Short (Tim) of Landmark, MB, Barb Maines (Ross) of Calgary, AB and Arlene Drake (Justin) of Tyndall, MB; uncle Bill Ivaniski (Joanne) of Red Lake, ON; as well as numerous cousins; great-aunts and great-uncles. Kaleb was born in Lloydminster, SK and was faced with a tough beginning from day one. He received his second chance, a gift of life, when he had a heart transplant, just 10 days old. Kaleb was a fighter from the day he was born and continued to do so by adjusting to life with Cerebral Palsy, which he never ever let stop him. Then, showing us even more strength and determination, Kaleb beat cancer at the age of four. He fought a battle like no other and made everyone that knew him so proud, but sadly, his little body was just too tired to fight anymore. On Saturday, January 21, 2017, Kaleb's Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street at Manitoba Avenue, Winnipeg. The family would like to thank the Stollery Children's Hospital in Edmonton, AB, where Kaleb spent many days of his short life. We would also like to thank the numerous doctors and nurses who ensured he had the best possible care they could give him. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Kaleb may be made to the Devin Seguin Memorial Foundation, P.O. Box 12761, Lloydminster, AB T9V 1E9. This foundation helped us more than we can describe when we needed it most. Wojcik's Funeral Chapels & Crematorium, Winnipeg, 1020 Main Street, 204.586.8668 www.wojciksfuneralchapel.com

Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • My sincere condolences to the family of Kaleb Busch. No words can take away all the pain caused by losing a loved one especially that he was barely starting his life. In times like these, I find comfort in God's promise at Revelation 21:4 which says "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away". May you also find comfort in knowing that soon God will eliminate death and He will bring back our dead loved ones again. - Posted by: Anne Laguardia () on: Feb 05, 2017

  • Dearest Terry, Words cannot express the sorrow that I feel for you and Owen. I never had the pleasure of meeting wee Kaleb, however, I did follow his journey along the way. He was obviously a very loving, sweet little boy who had the best giggles and loved to sing! I know your family will wrap their arms around you and help you through your difficult times. I am sending you hugs, and well wishes. Am thinking of you. A. xoxoxo - Posted by: Allison Abram (Friend) on: Jan 18, 2017
