ADAM BUCHOWICZ After a courageous battle with Type 1 Diabetes for 30 years, with the heaviest heart, we announce the passing of Adam Buchowicz. He passed on Saturday, January 14, 2017, in his home in Winnipeg, Manitoba at the age of 54 years. Adam is survived by Agnieszka, his former wife; Adrian, his son; Alicja, his daughter; Maria, his mother; Wladyslaw, his stepfather; Asha and Ewa, his sisters; as well as Marek and Grzegorz, his brothers. On December 3, 1962, Adam was born in Walbrzych, Poland. He grew up always wanting to work with his hands and often played with a ball of clay in school to keep his hands busy. He has many talents, including miner, electrician, sharp shooter, chocolatier, business owner, driver, auto repair, painter, cook and more. He also spoke five different languages. Adam was known by many to have a great sense of humour and giving personality. Even as his health declined, he could not stay home and rest. He wanted keep working and give a helping hand to anyone and everyone that would ask, including people he didn't know. Adam had a love and talent for cooking and always joked he couldn't eat his own cooking. We believe that he was a quietly spiritual person and always enjoyed learning about the world around him. He loved music and often listened to bands like Queen, The BeeGees, AC/DC and Michael Jackson. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Monday, January 23, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Andrew Bobola Roman Catholic Church, 541 Marion Street, Winnipeg, with Rev. Fr. Sebastian Gacki, presiding. We would love if anyone and everyone could attend. There is so much to say about Adam. Please, come to Mass with us on Monday and celebrate his life. We all are so heart broken by his loss and we thank everyone for their prayers. Please, pray for him and his soul. He is listening. Prosze, módlcie sie za niego i jego dusza. On slucha.
