Dear Auntie Barb and Keith, I was heartbroken to hear of the passing of Uncle Bill. Growing up as close as we did I have many wonderful memories of Bill. We shared family dinners, birthdays and fishing trips and campfires at the cabin. You both gave the toast to the bride at my wedding and I will always cherish the good times we had. I truly loved his gruff personality and his brutal honesty with life. It was just the way he was and that's what made him special. I'm sure he's finally resting in peace and we can take comfort in that. Love you both always..... - Posted by: Michelle (Family friend ) on: Jan 31, 2017

Uncle Bill was a real character. He would always make me laugh, as he had no filter whatsoever when it came to giving his opinion. When I was very young, he would tell me stories (again with no filter) about life behind bars. I've gotta say that his graphic depictions of what would happen to a young incarcerated man like me - always played on my mind and certainly dissuaded me from choosing "a life of crime". I will deeply miss his unique humour and truly good nature. - Posted by: Paul Phillips (Nephew) on: Jan 23, 2017

Dear Barb and Keith.....so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I have so many good memories of him as my supervisor. I remember the day he tried to introduce several of us to fishing. It was cold , miserable, and rainy but we were assured it was good fishing weather. I'm still not sure that wasn't a practical joke. It is with a heartfelt sadness that I learned of Bill's passing. We worked together at SMI in the 1970's and spent many pleasant working hours together. His friendliness cheered us all and he will be missed. I send my deepest sympathy to the family. Bill Kynar - Posted by: Bill Kynar (friend and co-worker) on: Jan 23, 2017
