So many things could be said about Clay--he was a delight to know as I grew-up in Bethesda; I count it a privilege that I was a friend. As a board member and I a youth leader, as we discussed many issues, he evaluated and approached issues with care and insight into the problems at hand with always a respect for all individuals on both sides. His concern was always for the individual first and he delighted in the helping of others. I always enjoyed the interaction between Gwen and Clay; I loved them both. They gave humour as well as took a good ribbing--his smile and laughter were always infectious. My condolences to the entire family; I remember many of you, and Gwen and Clay spoke so highly of all of you. I know they cherished you all by how they spoke of you often. A fitting tribute for an extraordinary man. - Posted by: Bob Davies (Friend) on: Jan 31, 2017
