WILLIAM CHARLES (BILL) HAUFSCHILD June 30, 1933 - January 17, 2017 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father on January 17, 2017. Bill was the son of Ernest and Anita Haufschild and predeceased by his sisters Eleanor Gidden and Betty Peever. He is survived by his children, Dan Haufschild (Jocelyn), John Haufschild and Carol McDonald (Jamie) as well as his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and dear family friend Hermann Schweizer. Bill had a love for wildlife, a passion for horses, and enjoyed hunting and growing gardens. He was an avid cook, with cookbooks and recipes in abundance. Bill was also known for his one liners and what he referred to as "Billisms" Bill will be laid to rest to join his late companion Carolyn Kell in a private ceremony with his family. A public celebration will be held on Monday, January 23, 2017 at 1:00 p.m at the Charleswood Legion, 6003 Roblin Blvd in Winnipeg.
