Date of Passing: Jan 11, 2017
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFLORENCE MARGARET MCINTYRE (MCLAUCHLIN) Peacefully at St. Boniface Hospital on January 11, 2017, Mom completed the final steps in her life's journey. Mom was born in Winnipeg on September 7, 1947. Left to cherish her memory and miss her dearly is her husband Ken who she has been caring for with dementia; her daughter Kristine (Jim) and her son Mike and her two grandsons, Josh and Zac; her brother Gordon (Audrey), David and their families. A special thank you to all the staff in MICU at St. Boniface and Pallative Care. Your care was amazing and we thank you. Also to Dr. Andreiws whose care to our mom and to us truly meant a lot at this difficult time. She will be greeted happily in heaven by her parents and many aunts and uncles to catch up. She will continue to watch over us as she always did and will be cheering her grandsons on as they move forward with their curling. When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. We love you Mom and Grandma.

I'm very sorry to hear of your mother's passing. My twin sister, Barbara, and I grew up down the street from your Mom. We attended the same church and our parents were good friends through Riverview United. I remember attending a wedding shower for your Mom. Florence and I saw each other in different places through the years and were able to catch up with each other's lives. I visited your grandmother McLauchlin in the care home at Gimli but sadly, she didn't remember me anymore. I didn't really know your Dad but I'm very sorry to hear that he is suffering from dementia. I have very fond memories of your Mom and her parents. I hope your memories will help you through this difficult time. I'll keep you and your families in my prayers. - Posted by: Susan Campbell (Wilson) (friend ) on: Jan 28, 2017
