  • My heartfelt condolences to Mervin and family as you mourn the loss of a wife, mother, and grandmother. My memories go back many years to the hockey years in North Kildonan. Claudette and I and so many others belonged to an elite group of "Hockey Moms." Over the years it was always a pleasure when we chanced to meet in a parking lot, at the grocery store, or occasionally at South Beach Casino. No matter when or where, there was always a warm greeting with a big smile and she would always have time to chat and catch up on news. My thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of grieving.
