HAZEL IRENE ENGLISH (SAUNDERS) Peacefully, on February 1, 2017, Hazel English passed away at the Charleswood Personal Care Home. Hazel was predeceased by her parents Marie and George Saunders, and her beloved husband Charles Henry. The fifth of 10 children, she is survived by two brothers, Keith (Dorothy) of B.C. and Tom of Manitoba; and many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the many kind and caring staff of Charleswood Home. At Hazel's request, no formal funeral service will be held. Hank and Hazel were the sweetest people and I am feel blessed that I had them as wonderful neighbors and friends. They took such pride in their yard and always had great stories to share. I really loved them both and now they are together again. Today Hazel came to mind and sadly I did not receive a Christmas Card this year...I googled her name and now understand the reason. I will never forget the great times spent in your company over the years, and the last time we talked.
