EDNA LOEPPKY 1923 2017 On February 1, 2017 our loving mother, Edna Loeppky passed away at the Victoria Hospital with family by her side. She was predeceased by her husband Jake in 1996; her brother and his wife Eric and Mabel Trinder and nephew Gary Trinder. Her pride and joy was her family. Left to cherish her memories are her son David (Sandy) of Mason City, Iowa; daughter Norma of Winnipeg; son Lorne (Kathleen) of Carman, Manitoba and daughter Shirley of Winnipeg. Mom was born in Lowe Farm, Manitoba to Reg and Dorothy Trinder. Mom was a caregiver from an early age having to look after her mother before she passed away with Leukemia and then took over the housekeeping and care of her father. For many years mom lived at 880 Cambridge and made many friends. Mom was always friendly, cheerful, optimistic and willing to help anyone who needed a helping hand. She was always ready with a help to anyone she met in the hallway. She will be sadly missed by all whose lives she touched. Cremation has taken place and according to mom's wishes, there will be no funeral service. A private family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be to a charity of your choice. THOMSON "IN THE PARK" 204-925-1120 Condolences may be sent to www.thomsoninthepark.com

Your mom was one of the brightest lights of my childhood. She was a great lady who made a lot of people smile. Aunt Lil died this morning so that only leaves my mom left of that whole Loeppky generation. If any of you kids get to read this feel free to get in touch through Facebook or call 2042923337. - Posted by: David Hudson (Nephew ) on: Apr 09, 2019
