WALTER HANCHAR 1928 - 2017 On Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Concordia Hospital, Walter Hanchar, beloved husband of Teresita, passed away at the age of 89. He was predeceased by his parents, Sam and Stella and cousins, Peter and John Basylski. Walter will be lovingly remembered by his wife Teresita; his children, Barry, Sharon, and Meryle; sisters, Frances and Helen and his brother Paul. Lamay/Viewing will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. to Midnight, at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul, MB. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Glen Eden Funeral Home. Interment and reception to follow. The family thanks Dr. Wawryko, Jamellah, Jaunita, Busco and the rest of the rest of the staff at Concordia Hospital for all their special care shown to Walter.
