ELISE B. TETRAULT (nee MATKOVCIK) August 18, 1927 - February 2, 2017 Peacefully, at Vista Park Lodge, with family at her side, Elise passed away. She is survived by Gabriel, her loving husband of 70 years; her seven children, Clovis (Millie), John, Marilyn (John) Schmidt, Marcie (Keith) Dodds, Mike (Heather), Jo-Anne (Gilles) Rajotte, and Andy (Rick) Jolicoeur; as well as 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. The grandchildrens' favourite saying was "Grandma's butter tarts are the best in the world." Until her last days with us, she had the most beautiful smile, even when her health was deteriorating. Special thanks to the staff of Vista Park Lodge for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place and Mass of the Resurrection will take place on Thursday, February 9, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Timothy's Parish, 135 John Forsyth Rd. Family interment will follow at St. Boniface Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.
