Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Our dear sister Shirley had the best non smile ever!!! Her deadpan delivery of "I am smiling" during our show, brought on reams of laughter with every performance. She loved the Sisters and we loved her right back! Her tenacity and stamina were an inspiration to all of us and it just seemed that she was a force that would be with us forever. Her passing will leave a hole but she will be with us always in our hearts. I am so very saddened that after all her years of service, we cannot sing at her celebration. Unfortunately as you know, we are spread across the world during our hiatus with the lucky snowbirds spread out everywhere. I do like forward to meeting you all at the service and getting a chance to see her face in all of you! - Posted by: Lynn Ohlson (Sister of the Holy Rock) on: Feb 09, 2017

  • Shirley was "Aunt Shirley" to me and I have many fond memories. My condolences to Cousins Glen and Jan, and their families. She will be deeply missed. - Posted by: Anne Marie Ferguson () on: Feb 09, 2017

  • What a wonderful friend to have had for over 40 years! It was always a laugh and a glass of wine with Shirley and I shall miss that very much. Visiting her was always top priority when I came to Winnipeg. My next trip home just won't be the same. Rest in Peace, my dear friend. I'll have one for you. Love 'ya, Mean it! - Posted by: Shirley Dudeck (Friend) on: Feb 08, 2017
