LAWRENCE ROLAND ANDERSON It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, grandfather and best friend, Lawrence (Andy) Anderson, on Sunday, February 5, 2017. He will be lovingly remembered by his family, sons Laurie (Cindy) and Doug (Karen); grandchildren Nicholas, Hailey and Dylan along with his companion Ethel Mackenzie-Reykdal. Andy was predeceased by his wife of 51 years Irene along with his parents and brother William and sister Ethel. Andy was born and raised in Winnipeg and enjoyed a lengthy career of 42 years at Canada Post where he rose in the ranks to Night Shift Manager at the main terminal. Andy loved his time at the cottage in Ponemah and went on to build a retirement home on the cottage lot and retire there enjoying many years. Time at the lake was spent swimming, canoeing, golfing and enjoying a beverage with many friends. At Andy's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family interment will take place at a later date.
