Born: Dec 05, 1933
Date of Passing: Feb 06, 2017
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySHEILA HELEN GRAHAM Sheila was born on December 5, 1933 and she passed away peacefully at Tuxedo Villa PCH on February 6, 2017. Sheila was predeceased by her loving friend, Clarence Shynkaruk, in 2008. She is survived by her beloved sister, Shirley Allen (Roy) and by her three children; Fred (Nancy), David (Tess) and Donna (Randy). She will be remembered as a loving Nanny to her grandchildren; Sarah, Heather, Jason, Jeremy, Jacqueline, Kacey and Athena as well as her seven great-grandchildren; Kayla, Emily, Daniel, Reese, Paige, Jaelyn and Wyatt. Sheila is also survived by her nieces and nephews that she loved dearly and by her long-time friend Peggy Davidson. Mom grew up in Toronto but later in life she had the opportunity to live, and work, in a variety of places throughout Canada. She had many wonderful stories about the places that she'd seen and the people that she met during her travels. In 2001 Mom moved to Winnipeg and decided to put down roots permanently. Initially at the Kiwanis Plaza on Point Road and then at St. John's Haven on Grant Avenue. Mom was outgoing, friendly and very social but she also loved to curl up at home with a hot cup of tea and a good book. The most important part of Mom's life was always her family and she was the biggest supporter of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We are all so grateful to have had her in our lives and she has left this world knowing that she was loved, beyond measure, by all of us. Cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will be held in Ontario to celebrate Sheila's life. The family would like to express their appreciation and gratitude to the wonderful staff at Tuxedo Villa for the kind and loving care that Sheila received during her brief time there. In honour of our Mom's wishes, flowers and donations are gratefully declined in favour of an act of kindness toward someone in need. NEIL BARDAL FUNERAL CENTRE 204-949-2200 neilbardalinc.com

Although I never had the privilege of knowing Donna's mom, Donna often spoke of her in a very loving way. I was fortunate enough to have spoken to her mom many times and had lovely conversations with her over the phone and it was obvious that she loved her family very much. To her family - May the memories of the wonderful times you had together help you in this time of sorrow. - Posted by: Karen Brown (Friend of her daughter, Donna) on: Feb 11, 2017
