Date of Passing: Feb 04, 2017
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES (JIMMY) MCCULLOCH July 29, 1939 - February 4, 2017 It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dad, brother, uncle and grandfather, James (Jimmy) McCulloch. He peacefully left us on Saturday, February 4, 2017, at the age of 77 years. Remaining to forever cherish Jimmy's memory are his daughter Susan (Luis); sons Stephen (Pam) and Jamie (Charmaine); grandchildren Derek, Adrien, Mark, Jeremy, and Aaron; nephew Rob (Margaret); brothers Charles (Susan) and Arthur in Scotland and his extended family Norm and Lenore Singbeil; as well as his many friends and family near and far. He was predeceased by his wife Liz and parents Mary and Andrew McCulloch. Jimmy was born in Scotland, moving to Winnipeg where he married Liz, also from Scotland. He has always taken pride in his Scottish heritage and in recent years travelled back home to visit his family. Jimmy loved his grandchildren deeply and loved to talk about them with anyone who listened. He enjoyed his many summers at Spruce Sands and Oasis Beach. Jimmy spent countless hours doing crosswords, video games and puzzles. He was full of life and laughter and always had a story to tell. Jimmy always made the time to say hi and would give you the shirt off his back. He worked at the CN Transcona shop his entire career before retiring. He will be dearly missed. Respecting Dad's wishes funeral arrangements are as follows; Saturday February 18, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street at Manitoba Avenue. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Dad's memory to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200 - 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. Wojcik's Funeral Chapels & Crematoriums Winnipeg, 1020 Main Street, 204.586.8668 www.wojciksfuneralchapel.com We love you, miss you, and will forever celebrate your life. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, we'd walk right up to heaven and bring you back again.
