MARJORIE EMMA CHALE On February 14, 2017, at Vista Park Lodge, her family with her, Marjorie Chale passed peacefully, in her 92nd year. She was predeceased by her husband John Chale, in 2016, in the seventy-second year of their marriage, and by infant son Michael. She is survived by her children Carol Anne (Bob), John David (Leslie), Penny (Brian), Patricia (Don), Jim (Bonnie), and Tim (Stephanie); by ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and her brother Les Holden. Mom's life was about serving - her family, her community, her church. She and Dad were active members of St. Bernadette Parish from the time it was founded. Mom was totally committed to making the lives of the people in her life the best they could be, and she brought boundless energy to the essential role of Mom and homemaker. For over sixty years, there were happy family gatherings at the cottage near Sioux Narrows on Lake of the Woods, where her beautiful flowers and bountiful vegetables reflected her passion and talent for gardening, and family feasts witnessed her skills in the kitchen. She gave and taught us so much. We love you Mom, we won't forget. Cremation has taken place; a funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 17 at 11:00 a.m., at St. Timothy's Parish, 135 John Forsyth Road, Fr. Leo Couture officiating. The service will be followed by a reception and light luncheon at Oakridge Point Condominiums, 697 St. Anne's Road.The family would like to express our deepest thanks to the amazing people at Vista Park Lodge, who went so many extra miles over the past fourteen months to make the last part of Mom's life so much better..we are truly grateful.
