EULA MARLENE DECAIRE February 15, 1935 - February 11, 2017 Surrounded by loved ones, Marlene DeCaire peacefully left this world on February 11, 2017. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Guy DeCaire, on June 11, 2005. Her memory will be forever cherished by her sons and their wives: Leon and Yvonne, Mitchel and Ximena; her beloved grandchildren: Jenny, Katie, Emily, Jasmine and Matteo; her dear cousin Karen Hill; the Bridges cousins; DeCaire relatives and close friends. Marlene was born on February 15, 1935 and was the only child of the late Wilma and Lloyd Bridges of Mather, Manitoba. She was a graduate of the Winnipeg Normal School in 1954 and taught for several years in rural Manitoba and then the Fort Garry and Seven Oaks School Divisions. Marlene was a devoted wife and mother, an extremely caring and considerate person. Our Mother and Grandma will be joyfully remembered and sadly missed. In accordance with Marlene's wishes, cremation and a family internment service has taken place at Thomson "In the Park" Cemetery, followed by an intimate celebration of her life at Lindenwood Terrace. The family would like to thank the wonderful people at Lindenwood Terrace where Marlene enjoyed living the past few years, Dr. Andrew Jowett and Agnes for their many years of service, and also the caregivers at Victoria General Hospital for their kindness and compassion during her final days. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made in memory of Marlene to the Winnipeg Humane Society. Those we love don't go away. They walk beside us everyday. Unseen, unheard, but always near, Loved and missed and very dear. THOMSON "IN THE PARK"204-925-1120 Condolences may be sent to www.thomsoninthepark.com
