MARY-ANNE MCDONALD 1929 - 2017 With sadness we announce the passing of Mary-Anne McDonald (Desautels) of Belmont, MB. She passed away peacefully with her family at her side at Baldur, PCH. Mary-Anne was born in St. Anne, MB where she spent her early years. She went to work in Winnipeg until she met Jim McDonald at Deer Lodge. They moved to Belmont after getting married in 1970. She loved gardening especially flowers. She enjoyed dancing, sharing good times, and was always happy when friends or family visited. She will be missed but lovingly remembered by her brothers, Paul (Win) and Fernand (Rose) and one sister Laurette (Leo), two sisters-in-law, Alma and Bonnie as well as man other in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Jim in 2016, her parents Leandre and Rose Desautels; brothers, Thomas, George, Rene, Albert, Edmond, Philippe. as well as sisters Laura and Alda. A special thank you to nurses and staff at Baldur PCH, transitional unit for the compassionate care they gave Mary-Anne. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Mass and interment will take place in early summer in St. Anne, MB. Online condolences can be sent to the family by visiting www.willmorchapel.com.
