I met Ardith when I moved to Garfield Street in 1990 she was still in her home. We would get together now and again to catch up on our lives. I will miss her company, conversations, and wit. She was amazing!!! - Posted by: Gloria Thompson (Friend and Neighbour ) on: Mar 25, 2017

I met Ardith many years ago at the Thistle Curling Club. She was my skip with the squeaky shoes. Ardith was so much fun and a "mom" to all of us youngsters. Our friendship spanned the years. Although I have seen Ardith for about 10 years, I have followed her progress through friends. What an amazing & compassionate woman! She will be missed. I will treasure her memory. - Posted by: Frances Senka (Friend from Thistle Curling Club) on: Mar 22, 2017

Condolences on the loss of your mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many. Our family had ample evidence of Ardith's caring and compassion over many decades, and that care contributed to enabling my parents to stay in their home to the end of their days. Our family had the unique and joyful opportunity to know Ardith over a period of several years when she, and our mother, lived in the same apartment residence. Mom died last year at 102. When Ardith was that age she was still doing weekly volunteer work at Deer Lodge. This is remarkable and no doubt many commenting here will talk about how amazing she was and what she accomplished after her 100th birthday. And, it was amazing, but it misses what was really wonderful about Ardith: she was funny, warm, feisty and always interesting to talk to. I doubt Ardith ever met anybody who didn't near immediately and proudly, identify themselves as Adrith's friend. I consider myself blessed to be one of those thousands. - Posted by: Sheldon Bowles (Friend ) on: Feb 24, 2017
