Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT LEWIS LYTLE 1949 - 2017 It is with great sadness to announce that Robert Lewis Lytle passed away suddenly, at home, on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at the age of 67 years. Robert was born on November 15, 1949 in Nipawin, SK. He lived in Winnipeg for most of his life where he married Lorelee Lytle (nee Rogers) and started their family. Robert is survived by Lorelee, and sons Jeff (Erlinda Gagnon) and Creag (Jessica) and granddaughter Everly, mother Myrtle Lytle, sisters Debbie Clement and Susan Wrigley (Doug), and brothers Darcy (Doreen) and Todd (Heather Fustey) and their families, as well as Lorelee's mother, and sisters and their families. He was predeceased by his father Robert Lytle, father-in-law Len Rogers, brother-in-law Bill Clement, and many aunts, uncles and other family members. Robert was a proud and devoted father and loving husband, son, brother, uncle and was overjoyed at becoming a grandfather just two months ago. He was generous with his time and always willing to lend a hand. As a lover of all animals, he will be dearly missed by his furry dog companions Ben and Rocco who brought him great joy. Robert lived a full and active life and loved the outdoors. He had a zest for life and was always keen on learning and experiencing new things and was close to completing his Occupational Health and Safety training. He loved challenges and new adventures and did a lot of world travelling years ago. His many interests included restoring trucks and cars, building computers, music and boat riding. Recently he took a great interest in creating lasagna, soups, pies and other dishes for his family. Robert always had a good story to tell with his own special sense of humour. He will be deeply missed and remembered by all those who knew and loved him. Cremation has taken place and a private family celebration of life will be held. If so desired, donations in Robert's memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Winnipeg Humane Society.
