EMILY LUTZ (nee LEPESKA) Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, on Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at the Riverview Health Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Emily Lutz, aged 84 years, wife of Alfred Lutz. Besides her husband Alfred, Emily leaves to mourn her passing her son Kevin Lutz (Karin) of Vancouver, BC, her son Blair Lutz (Alice) of Dugald, MB, grandchildren Jordan (Cayle), great-grandchildren Alyvia, Elyse and Zachary, Jared (fiancé Ayla), Jenna and Jody, her daughter Alison Wishnowski (Rod Samson) of Oakbank, MB, grandchildren Logan, Shyanne and Tanner, as well as her sisters Isabel Marshall and Lily Ross (Dennis), and numerous nieces and nephews. Emily was predeceased by her first husband, Alexander Balbon, and her parents. Emily had a passion for life and all that it offered. She had many hobbies including gardening, fishing, needlepoint, oil painting and taxidermy. Emily loved nature and everything about the outdoors. The cottage was a very special part of Emily's life and she loved spending time there for many reasons, but primarily because she loved having her family together. She will be greatly missed. A private family service for Emily was held on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre in Winnipeg.
