MONA JOYCE RILEY (nee WEBB) September 19, 1926 - February 24, 2017 Peacefully on February 24, 2017 at Rosewood Lodge. Mona was born and raised in Stonewall. After going to Business College and working at Western Savings and Loan in Winnipeg, she married Howard Riley in 1959. They moved to a farm North of Stonewall where they raised their two children Regina and Neil. She was predeceased by her husband Howard, her parents John and Ruby Webb (nee Whiteman), stepfather Al Lundgren, sisters Lorraine Webb, Jean Essex, Marjorie Cieslar, and brother Ernie Webb. She is survived by her children Regina (Wade) Kropelin, and Neil (Erika) Riley, grandchildren Jordan, Dawson, McHale, Ellis, Karling, and step grandchild Wesley. Also survived by brother Jack (Gwen) Webb and sister Marlene (Jim) Taylor, as well as numerous nieces and nephews on both sides. Mona was a very active member of the Stonewall Presbyterian Church, and generously donated her time to various charities, one being Manitoba Interfaith Immigration Council, where she taught English. She was also involved in the Quarry Toastmasters Club and sang with the Quarry Choristers for many years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
