PATRICIA (BETTY) RENTZ (nee WERBIN) Peacefully on Friday, February 24, 2017 at Concordia Hospital, Betty Rentz passed away at the age of 99. She was predeceased by her husband Harold, brothers; Jim, Anton "Tony", Bill, and Bob, sisters; Frances, Velma and Barbara. Betty will be lovingly remembered by her children: Brian (Nora), Gary (Audrey), Carrol (Ron), Lynne (Dave), grandchildren; Darryl, Stephen, Randy, Shauna, Russel, great-grandchildren; Blaire, Mark, Nicole, Jessica, Haley, Henry, and soon to be the newest addition to the family Charlotte. As per Betty's wishes cremation has taken place and a private service will be held. Glen Eden Funeral Home & Cemetery 204-338-7111

I remember Betty as the next neighbor lady back in the 60's and for decades after that. She was part of my childhood memories, then my teenage memories and then my grown up memories when I came home to visit. In all that time I don't remember her ever saying an unkind word to anyone. What I remember most clearly is that she and my mother would chat over the back fence and she would often talk about her children and grandchildren.
