I am sorry for the loss of Debbie. I knew her as a close childhood friend. We went to school together. After graduating grade 12 we celebrated with a trip together to Jamaica before settling down in life. Debbie had a kind heart and a very good sense of humour. We spent many happy hours together. I will always cherish those memories. Sincerely Shelley Kuzyk - Posted by: Shelley Kuzyk, maiden name Bale (childhood friend) on: Apr 20, 2017

Although we moved to Saskatoon in 1976, (the plan was to move back to Winnipeg within a year or so) we think of you all often. We share stories and wonderful memories of our next-door neighbours! Debbie always tried to include Karen and me. She played the latest music for us and we danced like crazy in that Greene Avenue basement! She helped us when we picked and sold baskets of apples from our apple tree. May all the wonderful memories eventually replace the sorrow you must feel at this time! Hugs to you all... Love, from the Ogilvys in Saskatoon. - Posted by: Linda Knipfel (nee Ogilvy) (Childhood friend & neighbour) on: Mar 06, 2017

Dear Luc and Jocelyne, We always laughed so much whenever we met. Jeff would tease and confuse the daylights out of her and Deb would take it all so good naturedly. So sad and so sudden. I imagine that makes it all the harder to come to peace. May you continue to make her proud. - Posted by: Boo and Jeff Arychuk (Old friend) on: Mar 06, 2017
