Dear Mary & family: We were so sorry to hear of your loss. Unfortunately we won't be able to attend the service for Don as we won't be back home until Saturday night. Our neighbourhood won't be the same without Don stopping to chat while out walking. Norv & Arl - Posted by: Norv Christopherson (Neighbour & friend) on: Mar 10, 2017

Mary, Jeff, Holly, Karen, Jeff & kids - what sadness to hear that Uncle Don is not with us, but what joy to know where he is! i hope that you are comforted by each other and in warm memories of Don - what a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. I was always amazed by the peace that Uncle Don could bring to a room, with his quick wit always delivered with perfect timing and followed by a soft chuckle... always a sheer joy to be in his company. Our prayers are with you as you remember Don now, and always, his caring & warm kindness and his love. Love Lukas & Glenda So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal. - 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 - Posted by: Lukas & Glenda Richards (Nephew) on: Mar 10, 2017

Dear Mary and family. We were so deeply saddened to hear about your loss and Don's passing. I have many fond memories of growing up and visits to their family farm at Markinch. He and Ken, (and later Doug) had the coolest handmade wooden trucks! ! No fancy tracks or garages or accessories - just plain wooden toys to play with in the dirt. It was awesome!! We wish we could be with you during this time. Please take some comfort in knowing that you are remembered in our thoughts and prayers.
