Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY FASHOWAY Mary was born November 30, 1919. She spent her childhood on a farm in the Alonsa area. At a young age she left home for the United States to live with her uncle. She worked for American Motors for many years while living in Windsor, Ontario. Mary moved to Winnipeg in 2000, living at Vasa Lund Estates with her sister Carolyn. With health issues she moved to Misericordia Nursing Home where she spent her last few years. Mary passed away at the Victoria Hospital on March 5, 2017. She is survived by two sisters Carolyn and Anne of Winnipeg, and one brother Walter of Portage. She was predeceased by sister Joyce in 2016. A Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue.
