EMMANUEL SIEBERT April 18, 1933 - March 3, 2017 Peacefully on Friday March 3, 2017 at the Golden Door Geriatric Centre, Emmanuel Siebert passed away at the age of 83 years. Emmanuel was predeceased by his brother Alex (Hanna). Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Margaret (nee Rupenthal) and his three children, Valerie Hein (Ed), Barbara Siebert (Danny), and Monica Stepharnoff (Richard); four grandchildren, Reed, Eric, Tyler and Chloe. Manny immigrated to Canada in 1950 and made Winnipeg his home, working as a tailor then a maintenance man for the Winnipeg School Division, mainly doing roofing. He always was friendly and welcomed everyone to "Manny's Bar and Grill". He enjoyed dancing and watching wrestling on TV. Manny was a member of the German Club for many years. The family wishes to thank Dr. T. Ross and all the staff of the Golden Door Geriatric Centre for their excellent care of Manny. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Golden Door Geriatric Centre, 1679 Pembina Highway, Winnipeg, MB R3T 2G6. A private family memorial service has taken place.
