Dear Thelma was one of our mother's caregivers before mom passed away in 2008. She came out to Matheson with my two younger sisters Agnes and Eileen a couple of years ago. We all had a great time. We surely will miss you so much dear friend. - Posted by: Rita Stephanson (Second cousin) on: Sep 05, 2017

Thelma came to Black Bear Island to help my mom, her cousin and close friend. I used to ask Mom,"When will the beautiful lady come and look after us again?". I think of the small pieces of Thelma that live on in the many many foster kids. I last saw her in the 1980s or 90s. - Posted by: Patrick Thomas (Distant cousin. Thelma was my babysitter when i was a child) on: Apr 02, 2017
